Translations are generated with AI and may contain errors. To report an issue, contact hello@brutemarket.com.
This notice explains how we handle personal data when you visit brutemarket.com or join the BruteMarket waitlist.
If you choose a language, we store that preference in your browser on this device. We use your browser’s language settings only to suggest an available translation. This does not use IP geolocation, analytics, or advertising trackers.
For a waitlist signup, we also record the language and the consent wording shown to you.
Who we are
The controller of this data is Efrén Arias, founder of BruteMarket, Dublin, Ireland. Contact: hello@brutemarket.com.
What we collect and why
- Waitlist details: your email address, signup date and time, consent wording, and which form you used. We use these to manage the list and send BruteMarket launch updates. A signup notification containing your email, signup time and form source is also sent to our contact mailbox.
- Abuse-prevention records: we process an identifier derived from your IP address and submission times to limit repeated requests. The signup records do not contain your raw IP address.
- Hosting logs: DreamHost processes technical access and error logs, which can include your IP address, request time and URL, response status, referring page, browser information and error details. These help keep the website secure and diagnose faults.
We rely on your consent for waitlist emails (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Our legitimate interests in preventing abuse, securing the site and resolving technical problems are the basis for the abuse-prevention records and hosting logs (Article 6(1)(f)).
Providing your email and consent is optional, but both are needed to join the waitlist. You can browse the website without joining. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Its fonts and visual assets are served from this site.
Who processes the data
DreamHost provides our website hosting and email infrastructure, with service providers that help deliver and protect email. Access to personal data is limited to administering the waitlist, supporting you and providing these services. We do not sell your data or share it for other companies' marketing.
These services may process data in the United States and other countries outside the EEA. DreamHost's Customer Data Processing Addendum describes its processor obligations and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for applicable international transfers. You can read the safeguards there or contact us for a copy and further information.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist records and signup notification emails: until you withdraw consent or the waitlist ends, whichever comes first. Removal covers pending signups, the active list and the corresponding mailbox copies.
- Abuse-prevention records: normally deleted within 25 hours of an attempt.
- Hosting logs: DreamHost manages their rotation. Its standard retention for active website logs is seven days; archived files from inactive log streams can remain longer until the hosting provider removes them. We use these logs only for security and troubleshooting.
Deleted data may remain in protected provider backups until those backups are overwritten through their normal rotation. Backup copies are not used for marketing, and deletion requests are reapplied if a backup is restored.
Your rights
You can withdraw your consent and leave the waitlist at any time by writing to hello@brutemarket.com or replying to an email from us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew.
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or a portable copy where applicable. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests, including our security and abuse-prevention processing. Contact us using the address above; we will normally respond within one month, as required by GDPR.
You have the right to complain to Ireland's Data Protection Commission or the supervisory authority in the country where you live or work, or where you believe an infringement occurred.
